Why the rate isn't just mileage
The rates follow drive time. Heading north out of Canton, thirty miles is thirty easy minutes. Heading south past Kennesaw, the same thirty miles can take an hour on a bad afternoon. Time is what the trip actually costs me, so time is what sets the rate your ZIP code lands on.

I come to your house, load your dog and their things, and text you when we are home safe. Or drop off and pick up in Canton yourself, with no transportation charge at all.
- Times set in advance
Pickup and return times are arranged in advance and confirmed before the stay, so nothing is a guess on travel day.
- One price per household
Transportation is priced per household trip, not per dog. Two dogs from the same house ride together for the same price, and your rate comes from the pickup ZIP code.
Farther out
Past my standard rates, transportation is quoted.
Midtown, Downtown, Decatur, the airport side of town and anything past it sit outside my standard rates. That does not close the door: book your stay, and I will send a transportation quote before pickup or drop-off is confirmed. Plenty of in-town families drive up to Canton instead, and it is a straight shot up 575.
Two east-side exceptions: Virginia-Highland and East Atlanta. Both sit past my usual radius, but I drive them, and I hold them at $40 each way, my farthest standard rate, instead of charging for the extra miles.
Boarding starts at $60 a night for one dog, with discounted household rates for up to four dogs from the same home. Dogs under six months: additional $15 per night. See the full rate sheet or the areas I serve.

How far do you drive?
About 35 driving miles from my home in Canton, 30114. That covers Cherokee County, most of Cobb, Roswell and Alpharetta, and the north side of Atlanta out to roughly I-285.
Can I book just the pickup or just the return?
Yes. Each leg is priced on its own, so you can request pickup only, return only, or both. Driving yourself carries no transportation charge, and boarding costs the same either way.
How are pickup and return times arranged?
Pickup and return times are arranged in advance and confirmed before the stay, so you know exactly when I will be at your door.
When do I pay for it?
It goes on the same invoice as the stay, sent after your dog heads home. A reservation deposit is requested after your stay has been personally reviewed and approved.
What if my ZIP isn't on a standard rate?
Type it into the lookup above and it will tell you. Your rate is set by the pickup address, so use the address I would be driving to. If the ZIP is outside my standard rates, go ahead and book your stay anyway: I will send a transportation quote before pickup or drop-off is confirmed. Availability for a quoted trip isn’t settled until I have reviewed the request.
