Where does the boarding actually happen?
At my home in Canton, just north of Atlanta. It’s home-based boarding, a real house with a large fenced yard, not a commercial kennel. I don’t have an Atlanta location, I bring the care to you with pickup and dropoff.
Do you pick up and drop off in the Atlanta area?
Yes, all the time. The neighborhoods inside my 35-mile radius, places like Buckhead, Brookhaven, Sandy Springs, Vinings and Smyrna, are Zone 4 at $80 round trip or $40 one way. Transportation is optional, and you are welcome to drop off and pick up in Canton at no charge. Farther in than that you are welcome to board, you would just drive up to Canton.
Is this a kennel or a dog-sitting app?
Neither. It’s just me, in my own home, with only a few dogs at a time. Your dog gets a quiet house, a fenced yard, daily photos, and one person who knows the breed, not a facility or a rotating cast of sitters.
What kinds of dogs do you take?
Dachshunds are my specialty, but every calm, well-behaved small or medium dog is welcome, roughly 40 lbs and under. Seniors and dogs on medication are some of my favorite guests.
